I'm building a miniature (1:6 scale) set out of vintage Barbie furniture, small rodent bones (salvaged from owl pellets), and the abundance of assemblage materials I've accumulated over the past 20 years for a stop-motion film. It will be surreal and dark, as vintage dolls tend to be, but also beautiful and strange. I'll post pics as I work, and plan to begin streaming work sessions with some of the amazingly talented artist friends who've offered to help construct portions of it. Stay tuned and enjoy this footage from The Carter Brothers. Stephen is writing and doing voiceover; Dave is filming. They mounted one of my reliquaries (Inner Eye, Unblinking) onto a rig that rotates 360º and Dave used his tiny camera to isolate different parts of the same assemblage. His camera will make my set look life-sized. So excited about this project. Watch for more info!
